Minnesota Court of Appeals Decision - In the Matter of the
Exemption Application by Minnesota Power for a 345/230 kV High Voltage
Transmission Line Known as the Arrowhead Project.

Power Line Route Details Finalized - After a nearly two-year
approval process, the PSC has written the finalized order that outlines
the details and route specifics of the 220-mile electric transmission
line from Wausau to Duluth.

Addendum to Application Filed - An addendum
(PDF: 743KB / 35 pages) to the application was filed with the Public
Service Commission of Wisconsin on April 25, 2000.
Application deemed "complete" by the PSCW - The
1,400-page application to build a power line from Wausau, Wisconsin
to Duluth, Minnesota was deemed "complete"
on December 15, 1999 by the Public Service Commission of Wisconsin
(PSCW).
Application Filed - The official application
for the Wausau to Duluth transmission line project was filed on
Wednesday, November 10, 1999 in Madison at the Public Service Commission
of Wisconsin (PSCW).
The 1400 page application includes a project overview, project
schedule, description of need and a routing overview. Hard copies
of the application were sent to each of the county offices and community
libraries along the routes.
WRAO Recommends New Transmission Line - The Wisconsin Reliability
Assessment Organization has filed a detailed report with the Public
Service Commission of Wisconsin on June 14, 1999 supporting construction
of a 230-mile transmission line between Duluth, Minn., and Wausau,
